Seasonal Celebrations
Mark the seasons, together on the land.
Throughout the year, we gather around the turning points of the seasons—not with loud music or big crowds, but with quiet presence, shared food, and good company.
Our Seasonal Celebrations are informal weekends for members and their families to come together, honour nature’s rhythms, and reconnect with the land, the food, and each other. They’re gentle, joyful, and always rooted in simplicity.
This isn’t a festival. There are no wristbands. Just a fire, a feast, and a sense of belonging.
What to know:
- Members Only: These gatherings are for My Little Farm members and their guests
- No tickets or booking required
- All ages welcome – children must be accompanied by a responsible adult
- Bring weather appropriate clothing, something to sit on, and a dish or drink to share if you’d like
- You can drop in and out over the weekend as suits your family’s rhythm

Summer Solstice Weekend
20th – 22nd June
The summer solstice marks the height of the sun’s power and the longest days of the year. Over the weekend, we gather to celebrate with a bonfire, St. John’s Wort oil making, and flower crown weaving. In the evening, we share a communal outdoor banquet, closing the night with a gratitude circle around the fire. It is a time to honour the abundance of summer and embrace the turning of the seasons.
We welcome the peak of summer with:
- A joyful bonfire gathering
- St. John’s Wort oil making
- Flower crown weaving for all ages
- A shared outdoor banquet
- Closing the evening with a gratitude circle around the fire
A chance to honour the abundance of light and the height of growth—both in the fields and in ourselves.

Lammas Weekend
1st – 3rd August
Lammas, or Lughnasadh, is the festival of the first harvest, a time to celebrate the land’s generosity and the fruits of our labour. Over the weekend, we bake bread, gather around the bonfire for storytelling, and enjoy a farm-to-table banquet. There will also be a flower harvesting session, a seed-saving workshop, and the chance to make the traditional wheat or corn husk dolls as a symbol of the harvest.
Over the weekend, we’ll:
- Bake fresh bread from farm grains
- Gather for storytelling by the fire
- Enjoy a farm-to-table feast
- Learn seed saving and flower harvesting
- Make corn or wheat husk dolls to carry the harvest spirit into the year ahead
A celebration of gratitude and abundance, shared simply and sincerely.

Autumn Equinox Weekend
19th – 21st September
As the equinox brings balance between light and dark, we gather to mark the shift into autumn. The weekend includes a gratitude circle around the fire and a seasonal banquet featuring the farm’s late harvest.
This gentle gathering includes:
- A warm bonfire each evening
- A gratitude circle
- A seasonal banquet featuring the farm’s late harvest
It’s a time to slow down, notice the change, and gather strength for the season ahead.
