Seasonal Celebrations
Mark the seasons, together on the land.
Throughout the year, we gather around the turning points of the seasons—not with loud music or big crowds, but with quiet presence, shared food, and good company.
Our member only Seasonal Celebrations are informal weekends for members and their families to come together, honour nature’s rhythms, and reconnect with the land, the food, and each other. They’re gentle, joyful, and always rooted in simplicity.

Imbolc - “Seeds of Light”
Saturday 31st January 2026
Imbolc marks the first stirrings of spring, a time to awaken the land and our intentions.
This gathering celebrates the quiet beginnings of the farming year: we bless the seeds, light candles for renewal, and share the first plans for the season ahead.
Members join in early sowing, soil preparation, and warming farm feasts beside the fire - a day to honour both reflection and reawakening.

The Spring Equinox is a moment of perfect balance, day and night in harmony.
At this gathering, we celebrate new growth on the farm, plant early crops, and welcome new members to the land.

Summer Solstice - “The Longest Light”
Saturday 20th June 2026
The summer solstice marks the height of the sun’s power and the longest days of the year.
It is a time to honour the abundance of summer and embrace the turning of the seasons. We'll gather to celebrate with a bonfire, St. John’s Wort oil making, and flower crown weaving.
In the evening, we share a communal outdoor banquet, closing the night with a gratitude circle around the fire.

Lammas - “Harvest & Hearth”
Saturday 1st August 2026
Lammas (or Lughnasadh) marks the first harvest - a celebration of grain, bread, and nourishment.
We gather to give thanks for the abundance of the season and reflect on the work of the land and hands that made it possible.
The day includes harvest workshops, baking bread together, and storytelling around the fire.

Autumn Equinox - “Balance & Belonging”
Saturday 19th September 2026
As day and night find balance once again, we gather to pause and reflect on the year so far.
This gathering blends the energy of harvest completion with preparation for rest - composting, seed saving, and storytelling around the year’s journey.
Members are invited to share reflections and contributions in an open circle, grounding the farm’s work in community.

Samhain - “The Turning Inward”
Saturday 31st October 2026
Samhain marks the end of the harvest and the beginning of winter’s rest — the Celtic new year.
It’s a time to honour those who came before, to slow down, and to find meaning in the dark season.
This gathering includes storytelling, candle vigils, and ancestral feasting, along with a quiet walk through the land.

Winter Solstice - “Light in the Dark”
Saturday 19th December 2026
The Winter Solstice is the year’s darkest night, and the rebirth of light.
We gather to celebrate stillness, community, and the promise of renewal.
With evergreen wreaths, candlelight, and a shared winter feast, we close the year as a family of co-owners and friends.
