Spring is Arriving with New Life

There’s been a quiet surge of activity on the farm these past few weeks. With spring pushing through the soil, life is bursting into view—and not just in the gardens.

Two healthy bull calves were born to our Jersey cows, marking the start of our dairy chapter. While we’d hoped for heifers to help grow our milking herd, their arrival is still a joyful moment and means we’ll soon begin offering raw, unprocessed, pharmaceutical-free milk to our members.

All around the farm, new chicks are hatching, and our flock continues to grow. And with our new woodland access track now useable for the team, we’ve finally been able to bring in loose loads of hard material for surfacing which is a huge step forward in opening the farm more easily and regularly to our community. For those of you who’ve bumped your way down the old track, you’ll understand just how transformational this is.
We’re also inching closer to offering our full range of My Little Farm meat. This moment has been years in the making, requiring patient investment, careful sourcing, and a deep commitment to doing things differently.

The truth is: what we’re building isn’t the norm. Even on organic and biodynamic farms, pharmaceutical use is common. We’re taking a stand to go beyond organic - to raise animals that are robust, naturally healthy, and able to thrive without intervention.

That means we breed and raise primitive livestock, use no antibiotics or vaccines, and work with animals who heal through their environment and diet.

This isn’t just about ethics—it’s about quality. Food raised this way is richer, more nutrient-dense, and simply more alive. But it takes time. And it’s hard to find others doing the same when looking for aligned supply partners.

We’re proud to be one of the few and deeply grateful that your support makes it possible.
