Membership, Land, and the Path Ahead

Membership, Land, and the Path Ahead

It’s been a big week here on the farm — not just in terms of what’s been planted or harvested, but in something more foundational: the structure that allows My Little Farm to grow with integrity.

From day one, this project has been about combining many moving parts into a cohesive whole. Land, food, governance, community, hospitality, stewardship — all tied together in a way that’s both simple and scalable.

It’s taken time, learning, and a fair bit of trial and improvement to craft a structure that truly holds it all.

While we’ve been building the farm from the ground up, we’ve also been designing a model for community ownership that supports distributed food security and can scale nationally without losing its soul.

Since we launched Co-owning Membership in spring 2023, the fundamentals have stayed the same. But it’s taken us time to find the right legal structure to support it, and the right words to explain it.

We're nearly there. Our updated documentation and co-ownership certificates will be going out in the next 6 weeks — a big moment that will solidify our structure and unlock new momentum for the farms to come.

Membership Tiers — Now Live

We’ve recently updated the Membership section on our website to give a clearer overview of the structure, tiers, and what's included.

At the top is the Founding Membership, for those who want to go deeper in helping bring the first farm fully to life, and gaining priority access to future housing opportunities on site as we evolve this into a Sovereign Village.

If you'd like to see how it all fits together, we’ve just published a full breakdown of the East Sussex opportunity:

If you’ve been curious about how to get more involved — or you know someone who might be — this page should bring everything into sharper focus.

Thanks, as always, for being part of the farm. We’re just getting started.
